You will sip and along the way meet farmers, winery owners, winemakers, and culinarians, excited to share their passions with you.
As wine-growing regions, Napa Valley and Sonoma County are similar in age, both offer world-class food, hospitality, wines, and views. Your discovery will lie in understanding the nuances of terroir, geography, culture, and winemaking styles. And Mark & Terry Crisler, who own and work a farm in Sonoma, share their favorite places to taste, dine and shop.

• Rombauer Vineyards – an iconic 3rd generation Napa family & winery, nestled below the Mayacamas Mountains, welcomes you to their Winery with painstakingly cared for gardens, and whimsical works of art collected by founder, Koerner Rombauer. You are invited to enjoy selected reserve and winery-only wines for a very special private tasting in the Rombauer Cave, hosted by the Cellar Master.
• Monticello Vineyard Estate – one of Napa’s hidden gems in the heart of Napa Valley with a remarkable family winemaking history encompassing four distinct appellations. Chris Corley, winemaker, handcrafts his estate-grown wines in small batches, each wine tells a story of perseverance and vision of stewardship of the land for generations to come. Passion in a glass!
• With great wine comes great food….a curated garden lunch at Monticello Vineyards includes many fruits and vegetables from their estate farm in Oak Knoll. Monticello is 100% solar-powered and sustainably farmed.
Roots run deep in Sonoma as we meander over the mountains to Sonoma, full of rolling hills, expansive lands, and ocean vistas. Diverse and boasting an abundance of farmland and water, Sonoma produces everything from milk to wool to wine.
• Barrel Tasting, with David Smith. Schug Carneros Estate Winery boasts a long family heritage, started by Walter Schug, original winemaker for Joseph Phelps Winery. History, heritage, and innovation come together here at Schug as they preserve their family’s winemaking legacy for generations to come.
• Hands off & Eyes on at Limerick Lane Cellars, with CEO Bill Smart. Resting on the northeast corner of the Russian River Valley in prime Chardonnay or Pinot Noir lands, we find Limerick Lane Cellars, known and revered for world-class zinfandels and Rhone-style wines. Walk the vineyards and experience the power of its unique microclimates and terroirs. You haven’t tasted zinfandels like these before!
• The Marriage of Foods & Wines – a curated lunch on the veranda of Oakville Grocery, in the charming town of Healdsburg.
